About the role
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design and a strong ability to connect with clients, helping them realize their vision through innovative solutions. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, customer service expertise, and design knowledge to effectively guide clients in selecting products that best suit their needs.
Duties
- Engage with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements.
- Provide expert advice on lighting design and product selection, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to close sales and build lasting relationships with customers.
- Manage inventory stock levels and assist in maintaining an organized display of products.
- Conduct outside sales activities, including attending client meetings and showcasing design options.
- Operate cash register functions accurately during transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless customer experience from consultation through installation.
Skills
- Proven sales experience with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and client interactions effectively.
- Knowledge of lighting design principles is highly desirable.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales confidently.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in using cash registers and handling financial transactions accurately.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing client needs.
