Purpose of Role
We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and personable Technology Business & Service Manager to join the Information technology organization of NWM SI. In this role the primary responsible for the Business Management function is in support of the Technology group and the Head of Technology, managing deliverables associated with the team’s internal communications, regulatory and audit compliance and representation of Technology in cross functional forums and initiatives.
The Technology Business & Service Manager will be responsible for Technology Service Governance and Delivery oversight for the execution of Technology goals and objectives including the delivery of one-off initiatives. Also responsible for technology updates, reporting to drive internal communications, briefings, presentations to regulators, and auditors.
Role Objectives
Responsible for the preparation of BAU and ad-hoc senior management decks and presentations, including materials for meeting with regulators, regular Board meeting updates, Executive Management Committee forums, Information Technology Steering Committees, among others.Work with US Technology leadership team to embed the appropriate Risk Appetite for Records Management. Identify and drive remediation of potential or actual risks. Escalate issues and incidents, and help proposes remediation plans, to the US Technology Lead and the Technology Leadership team.
Creates and maintains dashboards and/or scorecards to monitor the performance of the Technology team KPIs and KRI, keep technology senior leads aware of ongoing initiatives and key project status, etc.
Coordinate the agenda of several Technology forums, All Hands Technology sessions, and other ad-hoc team meetings, including preparation of materials and meeting minutes and follow ups on agreed next steps and deliverables.
Coordinates the process to set up Technology critical business goals and objectives, and assist the team in building comprehensive, strategic, and cross-functional plans to achieve them.
Partner with internal control functions including infosec, compliance, audit, risk management, HR and business continuity to address department deliverables and escalations on a continuous basis.
Qualifications And Skills
At least 5-7 years of experience working in a Technology business management capacity, in either a Financial Services institution or consultant firmStrong knowledge of technology landscape, data and the use of data in business processes
ITIL Framework and best practices certification preferable
Experience with working collaboratively with global teams
Broad knowledge of records management, regulations, and best practices.
Experience in Risk Management in 1 LOD or 2 LOD role, Operational Risk, and Controls.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively and persuasively with wide range of stakeholders of all levels. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
Self-starter and quick learner, overseeing complex matters.
Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills and are able efficiently in multi-cultural and diverse environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple deliveries, in an evolving and fast paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while adapting to shifting business needs
Skilled in conceptualizing, documenting and presenting creative solutions
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel required, with knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI and Visio preferable
The expected base annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000 at the start of employment. This is not a guarantee of compensation. The exact compensation is determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on skills, experience, training licensure, certifications and location.
