Deck Hand / Shift Lead

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• At Nautical Bowls, you are responsible for executing the daily duties necessary to operate a thriving, fun, professional, and welcoming Nautical Bowls!
• Greeting guests entering Nautical Bowls /making bowls or smoothies for each guest
• Delivering a top-notch acai bowl experience
• Answering/directing phone calls and questions about the business
• Stocking inventory and supplies
• Maintaining cleanliness
• Telling first-time guests about Nautical Bowls
• Prepping product for each day’s service
• Opening and closing Nautical Bowls
• ALWAYS putting others first
• Maintaining and representing the Nautical Bowls uplifting and fun culture
• Representing and living the healthy and active lifestyle we passionately promote

• You create positive interactions / outgoing and cheerful
• You are a fast learner and have great communication skills
• You are level headed
• You speak with guests and answer the phone with a warm and friendly voice
• You have a hard work ethic / a team player
• You are passionate about the Nautical Bowls brand and are excited to come to work

Benefits

• Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour depending on role (Deck Hand or Shift Lead)
• Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week (three shifts/week for Shift Leads is preferred)
• Opportunity for additional compensation/commision for qualified shift leads with growth mindset looking to help grow the business through events and partnerships
• Business / Marketing / Communications backgrounds not necessary but a plus for opportunity to utilize skills on the job in a small business setting
