Position : Acquisition Systems Analyst
How you will Make an Impact :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acquisition Systems Analyst (Contracts Policy Analyst) to join our team. The Acquisition Systems Analyst will play a vital role in supporting our organization's contracts management and policy development activities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as an 1102 / Contracting Officer or Contracts Specialist, with a strong preference for candidates with 10 years of experience administering federal / DoD contracts or working as a contracts policy analyst. Federal acquisitions experience is required, while DoD acquisitions experience is highly preferred. Navy acquisitions experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing contracts policies, procedures, and guidelines to identify areas for improvement, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Research and review federal acquisition regulations, statutes, and other relevant policies to ensure compliance and provide recommendations for policy updates or changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and program management, to develop and implement standardized contracts policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development, revision, and maintenance of contract templates, clauses, and provisions in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational requirements.
- Provide guidance and interpretation on contracts-related issues to internal stakeholders, including contract administrators, project managers, and executive leadership.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on contract policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze contracts performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Support audits and compliance reviews by preparing and providing documentation, conducting internal audits, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to federal and DoD acquisitions to ensure organizational compliance and effective policy development.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as government agencies, contractors, and industry associations, to exchange information, share best practices, and contribute to policy development efforts.
