MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
2-3 years' experience in electric, gas, water/wastewater operation.
2-3 years' experience in Natural Gas Industry
Supervisory Experience Required.
Valid Driver's License required (subject to motor record review).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES (Continued):
Manages, supervises and schedules employees by establishing performance goals, allocates resources and assesses policies for direct subordinates, including selection, training, performance appraisal and work allocation.
Oversees system analysis (computer) database activities.
Oversees preparation of specification and bid documents for contracts developed for open bid.
Evaluates field installations and recommends design modification to eliminate malfunctions.
Oversee the development and the design of gas SCADA equipment, materials and locations.
Manages material and equipment standards.
Maintains maps, communication and computer systems drawings.
Oversees operation, maintenance and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machine and systems.
Direct and manage measurement and regular station design standards.
Manages distribution systems design standards.
Administers in depth engineering advice and assistance to NTUA offices as requested.
Communicates projects status to management.
Oversees feasibility studies, surveys and research and analytical studies.
Develops and manages the budget for the department and allocates funds within the budget.
Performs other duties as assigned.
