What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Heavy Equipment Operator position at Navajo Tribal Utility Authority?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
Vocational or Specialized Training.
3-5 years' experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Valid Driver's License
Valid state CDL Class "A" License with Hazmat endorsement required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Operates equipment for specific work orders or account numbers.
Maintains record of use, mileage, repairs, or service required.
Assists in maintaining operating records.
Assists automotive mechanics in servicing and repairing heavy equipment.
Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose problems.
Prepares monthly operating reports as required.
Assists in the mobilization and demobilization of equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
