Responsibilities You will serve as the point of contact on public works (PW) directorates personnel requirements, and oversees awards, staffing, billet validation, position descriptions, onboarding, payroll system, and actions for the public works directorates. You will provide authoritative advice and guidance to the PW1 Director and associated business and support leaders to resolve problems, answer questions, and correct deficiencies. You will serve as a point of contact responsible for providing input and recommendations for the PW community management plan. You will provide professional program management planning and services to all Divisions and Branches with the public works. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-12 : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : 1) Processes and organization training principles, strategies, objectives, procedures and support requirements in designing program plans and actions to meet mission and Navy support requirements.; 2) Plan, schedule, and conduct projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve effectiveness and efficiencies of the assigned core Business and Product Lines management functions and processes.; 3) Demonstrating administrative principles, practices and procedures to provide administrative support and skills in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of programs and operations.; and 4) Utilizing automated office suite programs such as Microsoft Excel to develop, coordinate and prepare reports, graphs, charts to briefs and presentations for senior leaders and stakeholders. GS-11 : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : 1) Assisting applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of programs and operations; and 2) Conducting studies involving work methods and procedures of mission support function; and 3) Providing briefings on findings and recommendations of studies. SALARY GS-11 : $75,640-$98,330 SALARY GS-12 : $90,662-$117,856 Salary will be increased by the applicable cost-of-living allowance (COLA), which is subject to change without notice. If selected below the full performance level, you may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work is primarily sedentary; common office items that weigh less than five pounds are lifted and carried throughout the workday such as paper, files, books and reference material. At times the duties may become stressful due to deadlines and working on several projects simultaneously. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in normal office setting. The work site is properly heated, lighted, ventilated, and easily accessible by stairway or elevators. Several vacancies may be filled.
