Job Summary:
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fuel Distribution System Worker to join our team at the Naval Supply Systems Command. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of fuel across various platforms and locations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in fueling and de-fueling tanker trucks, as well as fueling aircraft or Navy combatant ships
• Operate pumps and accessory equipment to load, unload, and transfer fuel through pipelines and hoses
• Record fuel transfers and apply seals to tank trucks
• Perform various pier-side duties during fueling and unloading operations of ships, barges, and tankers
• Perform basic preventative maintenance actions as a member of the quality assurance surveillance team
Requirements:
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
• New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination
• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license
• You will be required to obtain and maintain proper licensing (CDL A, B, OR C if required) as well as government operator permit with HAZMAT certification if required
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required
