How you contribute to our success
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer responsible for conceptualization and implementation of design of solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion across multiple touch points such as print, web, and digital design. Other responsibilities include project management and strategic planning skills and managing multiple projects and campaigns.
This role will be a part of the Marketing team and will collaborate with designers, copywriters, and cross-function teams such as sales, product, and business development to evolve Navigate’s brand identity. Reporting to the Creative Director of Marketing, this role is a multi-functional role that requires design skills, creative thinking, problem solving, and strong communication skills.
Success for this position is defined by the ability to consistently produce innovative and impactful designs that exceed client expectations and align with organizational goals, all while being adaptive and able to pivot as projects evolve. It involves mastering various design tools and techniques while staying updated on industry trends. A successful graphic designer fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment. Beyond technical skills, success is marked by the ability to effectively communicate ideas, build strong client relationships, and manage projects efficiently, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget. Ultimately, success in this role is defined by leaving a lasting impression through visually compelling and memorable designs that leave a mark on the audience.

Your Responsibilities to the team, our clients and community
- Be Navigate’s biggest brand ambassador by consistently creating designs with Navigate’s brand guidelines top-of-mind.
- Communicate effectively with written and verbal skill to deliver collateral, meet deadlines, ask questions, and follow up in a timely manner
- Develop a deep understanding of Navigate’s customers, products, and user experiences
- Display initiative by learning how to effectively use the systems and processes that support the marketing function
- Design and deliver templates that allow the team and other departments to produce on-brand, consistent, and time-efficient work
- Manage marketing projects
- Stay current on market trends and competitive activity
- Strategize and identify new tactics to encourage business growth through creative designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to execute sales support, presentations, campaigns, digital marketing, and event communications
- Manage the quality control of design projects with organized tracking and project plans
- Be willing to jump in as required to achieve team success
- Ability to work effectively against multiple competing priorities
- A positive, get-it-done attitude
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong working knowledge of graphic design principles and Creative Suite software.
- Proficient in graphic and digital design with a strong sense of typography, color, and content hierarchy.
- Experience in owning projects from start to finish.
- Strategic thinker able to identify long-term opportunities and trends.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, positive, proactive and dedicated to meet and exceed expectations and deadlines (under promise, over deliver).
- The ability to take design criticism with grace.

Experience & Education needed for success in this role
Experience
- Diverse portfolio with 3 years design experience within an agency, company or related industry.
- Must be proficient in the following programs:
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Hubspot
- Proficiency in the following programs is a plus, but not required:
- Video design
- HTML
- Jira, Highspot, Beautiful.ai, and Microsoft Teams
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communications
Physical & Working Environment
- Normal mental and visual attention is required. Normal office working conditions requiring continuous use of both hands. Sitting most of the time, may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
- Position requires occasional bending, squatting, twisting and climbing stairs. There are minimal exposures to workplace hazards.
