What are the responsibilities and job description for the Disability Care Specialist position at Navigating Disability Colorado?
Seeking experienced disability care providers for all ages for contract work state wide in Colorado. This job requires experience with intellectual and or developmental disabilities such as Down syndrome, autism, other genetic syndromes and physical disabilities.
We love applicants who have senior care, dementia care but THEY MUST ALSO have verifiable experience with people with other disabilities like:
school age special ed teaching, or caring for those with Down syndrome, autism, mental illness, brain injury or spinal cord injury. If you ONLY have senior care dementia experience without these other disabilities, please do NOT apply.
Flexible shifts, just take those that work for your schedule. This is a website that you will be listed on for those seeking care to message you about caregiving.
Interviews, reference/background checks and payment are made between the caregiver and those seeking care, not the website.
Children and adults seeking caregivers to give a break to their family members. Experience in school settings with special education students is also beneficial.
Nanny or live in caregiver experience is helpful.
Learn about a new online platform to create a profile and connect with families seeking care.
Work a few or many hours, regular or occasional, very flexible. Every family has different needs
