ROLE:
· Under the general direction of the Systems Team Lead, perform the routine duties of running and maintaining the assigned technology systems of the company. This may include the functions of the Core and its peripheral components, telephone communications systems, business unit centric software solutions, such as loan origination and account origination software, automation software, mortgage origination and servicing software, and future technologies. Coordination of system functions must comply with company's policies and procedures and when required, government regulations. This position also provides second level support for the IT Help Desk during normal business hours, some select Saturdays and may rotate after hours support with other IT staff.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
· Performing required functions and processes associated with Month-End, Quarter-End and Year-End processing.
· Assessing the assigned systems currently in place, recommending solutions for improvement and working with stakeholders to implement approved recommendations.
· Resolving technical problems as they arise.
· Informing stakeholders about issues with the current technical solutions.
· Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have.
· Configuring and maintaining the assigned systems, system software, and applications.
· Ensuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
· Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
· Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
· Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the assigned systems.
· Providing technical support when requested.
· Documenting any processes that employees need to follow in order to work successfully within designated systems.
· Coordinate the installation and testing of new products/workflows; enhancements, service packs, etc.
· Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

EXPERIENCE:
· Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
EDUCATION:
· High School diploma or equivalent is required.
· A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study in a related field preferred.
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
· Broad knowledge of LAN/WAN equipment in an IP network topology.
· Experience with ticket management systems.
· Knowledge of system backups and restoration protocols.
· Extensive knowledge of Application Server troubleshooting.
· Experience with Microsoft environments, Windows Server and Database systems.
· Familiar with virtualization, backup, security technologies and techniques.
· Experience with IT implementation projects.
· Knowledge of infrastructure operations.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills; and broad understanding of IT concepts

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must by capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise.
MENTAL AND/OR EMOTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to perform job functions with supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various instructions and follow oral instructions.
