The firm is seeking a new addition to staff - a full-time Bookkeeper who is an expert in QuickBooks Desktop to work in a full-time in-office role, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (though if the chosen individual would rather work 30-35 hours/week, the firm could accommodate that). The Bookkeeper will work hand-in-hand with the Fiduciaries and Associate Fiduciaries in the office and be responsible for servicing private and court-appointed clients (individuals) by paying client bills, balancing client checkbooks and monitoring client investments all via QuickBooks Desktop. Also, the Bookkeeper may support Fiduciaries in gathering financial information for reports to courts and clients. There are no financial statements to prepare as these clients are individuals. This firm helps people who may be impaired cognitively, physically or financially by serving as the individual's conservator, estate administrator, trust manager, personal representative and/or agent under financial power of attorney. The firm values compassion, honesty and serving clients. There are opportunities to grow with this company as well. Benefits include health insurance (co. pays first $285/mo./plan), vision, dental, a 401k safe harbor plan w/up to a 4% match (vested immediately), 10 holidays, 15 days PTO (0-5 years of service), 20 days PTO (5-10 years) and 25 days PTO (10 years) as well as a discretionary bonus at year-end. The firm would prefer someone be able to be in the office between 8:00 - 8:30 am, though there is some flexibility.
