Job Summary
Navigator Wireline Services has offered a wide range of directional guidance services for gas, oil, mining, and storage wells in the Northern United States for over 20 years. To uphold these expectations, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
- Proficient computer skills in MS office suite including Excel, Work and Outlook as well as other business systems as required.
- Provides on-site supervision of the Measurement-While-Drilling (MWD) process, including tool preparations, data acquisition, log generation, Quality Control (QC), and delivery of the services to the customer.
- Provides technical and operational expertise to external customer.
· Participates in rigging down, and loading tools.
- Maintains equipment inventory and supervises movement to and from well site.
- Check equipment and advise repair requirements.
- Maintains computer database for on-going jobs, prepares job ticket, daily reporting, and end-of-well reports.
- Must possess good communication, arithmetic, data entry, and recording skills.
- Requires ability to read and interpret formation well logs and interpret directional survey information and other well site data.
- You are regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional light lifting, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines, including OSHA standards
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years oil & gas industry experience or a combination of experience and education
- Ability to communicate effectively in a courteous manner.
- Good mechanical aptitude required.
- Intermediate knowledge of computers and software applications.
- Must be able to work out of town for extended periods of a minimum of 7 day consecutive on 12-hour shift schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Live in or relocated to the Northern Michigan Area
- CDL Class A or B
- Experience in the oilfield industry with MWD or Wireline
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
