Overview

Job Summary

The Program Implementations Manager I provides strategic and thought leadership for managing deliverables and timelines in collaboration with internal and external customers. The role is responsible for planning and managing internal/external customer-facing programs by balancing scope, time and quality to deliver customer requirements and satisfaction.

The position will also be called upon to take on programs in other areas of Program Operations as peak demands dictate; working in concert with other department managers to deliver a variety of internal and external programs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work in direct customer-facing role. Work extensively with customer Executive Leadership, Clinical Leadership, Program Management, and Technical teams to ensure timely implementation of naviHealth products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with the customers’ executive leadership teams, program management, clinical leadership, and business leadership to negotiate realistic plans for successful go-lives, considering all applicable training objectives, the customers’ goals and success criteria, and any other customer-specific factors including risk and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor programs daily to track progress against the schedule, resolve risks/issues and manage program changes.
  • Oversee all phases of the implementation. Lead cross-functional workstreams, establish project plans, track issues, manage deadlines, and drive on-time execution for strategic and tactical business initiatives.
  • Identify risks, communicate those risks out to internal and external teams, and lead the action planning process to mitigate risks in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that operational requirements are clearly articulated and documented, representative of the organizational needs, demonstrate the value provided by our solutions and are delivered in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that the delivery of each implementation has appropriate levels of quality, are timely, within budget, and in line with the leadership team’s expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with other naviHealth departments to ensure that programs are aligned with business needs and acts as a central information source for each program.
  • Oversee the tracking and reporting of all changes with regards to delivery and associated budget implications as well as benefits and escalating issues and risks as appropriate.
  • Provide responsive, competent service and information to company management.
  • Work closely on managing technical and clinical resources.
  • Anticipate changing business needs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • At least 4 years of practical and progressive experience in customer-facing program implementations; previous technical and healthcare experience preferred
  • Project Management (PMP or equivalent) certification preferred, but not required
  • Project management experience and oversight of multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to proactively establish and foster collaborative partnerships with numerous internal and external stakeholders, including executives, department leaders, account managers, directors, and other business partners
  • History of forging strong, executive-level relationships internally and externally, with a level of credibility and enthusiasm
  • Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills; open to criticism and ideas; establishes an overall collaborative working relationship; persuasive; holds people accountable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively, gain credibility and influence across all levels internally and within customer organizations.
  • Ability to understand and manage complicated operational detail and clearly communicate based on audience (customer and/or internal partners)
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment while functioning effectively during change and growth
