Job Description:
Our Business Tax Services (BTS) group focuses on the critical impact of tax on business and personal ambitions, going beyond obligations to uncover opportunities and manage risks. We cater to a diverse clientele, including privately held and family-owned businesses, individuals, family offices, public corporations, and tax-exempt organizations, leveraging our industry expertise and global insights to help our clients navigate today's economy and shape a lasting legacy.
Responsibilities:
- Apply your technical expertise in fields like product development and pharmaceuticals to identify client innovation opportunities during meetings.
- Create comprehensive technical narratives to capture clients' qualifying R&D activities, analyzing complex information such as design documents and lab reports.
- Work collaboratively with an international team of professionals, including accountants, attorneys, and engineers, to deliver high-quality, critical analysis.
- Oversee client projects to meet expectations and deadlines, and contribute to the enhancement of our specialized research credit technology platform.
Required Qualifications:
- A predicted undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering or Management Information Systems (MIS); supported by a strong academic record.
- A strong understanding of engineering techniques, scientific methods, product development, manufacturing processes, design methodologies and prototyping.
- A strong understanding of development technologies, cloud computing, programming languages, software architectures, algorithms, and database design.
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Creative thinking and technical writing abilities that enable you to effectively identify and describe the innovation within clients’ development efforts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation:
The compensation for the position is $75,000 - $94,000.
