About the Role
My client is seeking an Investment Banking Associate focused on renewable energy, power or infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in investment banking looking to transition into a developer role. The selected candidate will support transactions and strategic growth initiatives within capital markets, M&A, and project finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence for renewable energy investments.
- Assist in structuring and executing project finance transactions, tax equity investments, and mergers & acquisitions.
- Develop presentations and investment memos for senior management and stakeholders.
- Support deal execution, including negotiations, documentation, and closing activities.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments affecting renewable energy finance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, investors, and external financial institutions to optimize capital structures and funding strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2-5 years of investment banking experience, with at least one year focused on energy, power, or infrastructure.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with experience in project finance or tax equity preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Compensation
- $115,000 - $130,000, with promotion potential to Manager within 1 year
- Target bonus of 20-25% of base salary.
