Anesthesia Equipment Specialist
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved Anesthesia Technology program.
- National ASATT certification required.
- CPR/BLS certification mandatory.
- Three years of experience in anesthesia equipment management preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and sterile techniques.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Ensures proper functioning and calibration of anesthesia equipment.
- Assists anesthesiologists in setting up rooms and troubleshooting anesthesia machines.
- Supports invasive procedures such as arterial line and CVC placement.
- Maintains anesthesia carts, reprocesses equipment, and orders supplies.
- Adheres to safety and infection control policies for anesthesia support.
