Title: Bioprocess Associate Scientist

Duration: 12 Months
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Biochemical Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or ChemicalEngineering
- For a B.S. degree, at least two years of post-graduate experience in a bioprocess/biotechnology-related position
- Shift hours primarily 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential for 20% of days extending beyond typical hours
- Must have scientific understanding of downstream bioprocess purification processes
- Strong knowledge of purification operations for large complex molecules
- Technical understanding of bioprocess scaling principles
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute process development experiments to enhance understanding of downstream unit operations both individually and in team settings
- Analyze, summarize, and present experimental results in a collaborative team environment
- Conduct lab work in compliance with company expectations for data integrity and safety
- Write, review, and improve procedures for equipment and process operations
- Perform technical investigations and address findings
- Learn and apply new processes and procedures
