Cardiovascular Specialist
Location: Amsterdam, NY
Hourly Rate: $60 - $65
Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for invasive cardiac procedures, assisting the healthcare team in hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
- Maintain sterile techniques to prepare the room, equipment table, and ensure quality care.
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper working conditions throughout procedures.
- Alert the care team of any changes and assist in managing supplies during procedures as directed by physicians and nurses.
- Restock the procedure room and lab area as needed to maintain proper supply levels.
- Participate in product evaluations and troubleshoot equipment issues, contacting appropriate personnel for repairs.
- Assist in the transport and transfer of patients to the procedure table.
- Assist cardiologists with selective procedures, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and maintaining sterile environments.
- Perform surgical scrubbing, gowning, and gloving procedures, and prepare supplies for specific procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Valid Cardiac Specialist License.
