Job Title: Cardiovascular Technician - Electrophysiology Lab
Duties:
- Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures and maintain patient monitoring throughout.
- Assist with equipment setup, sterile field preparation, and instrument handling.
- Monitor and document hemodynamic changes during procedures, alerting the team of abnormalities.
- Restock supplies in procedure rooms and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues or escalate as needed.
- Participate in patient transport and assist in positioning on procedure tables.
- Perform aseptic techniques, including surgical scrubbing, gowning, and gloving.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and nurses during specialized procedures.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support lab operations.
Skills:
- 2 years of experience in an EP or Cardiac Cath lab.
- Proficiency in equipment operation and sterile field management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- MBBS qualification acceptable in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
