Job Title: Cardiovascular Technician - STEMI Support
Duties:
- Monitor patients' hemodynamic status and ensure real-time communication with the care team.
- Record intracardiac pressures and manage procedural data using specialized software.
- Prepare the sterile field and arrange instruments for STEMI and cardiogenic shock cases.
- Operate intra-aortic balloon pumps, adjust settings, and monitor functionality during procedures.
- Assist with equipment calibration and troubleshooting for seamless operation.
- Provide supplies to physicians and maintain inventory in the procedure room.
- Participate in emergency resuscitation procedures and support the nursing staff.
- Support transport and preparation of patients undergoing invasive procedures.
Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of cath lab protocols and STEMI management.
- Proficiency in equipment handling and aseptic techniques.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Work experience may substitute educational requirements.
