Job Title: Claims Resolution Specialist
Duties:
- Manage patient accounts by preparing and submitting claims, both electronically and on paper.
- Investigate and resolve claim rejections, denials, and edits efficiently.
- Handle pre-authorizations and follow up on pending claims and balances.
- Provide billing assistance to patients, documenting all communications in the system.
- Monitor and address accounts listed on aging reports, including insurance and patient balances.
- Escalate unresolved cases to supervisors and participate in departmental training.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of billing systems, claim processing, and financial account audits.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School diploma with 4 years of related experience acceptable.
