Elementary School Nurse
- Pay: Total stipend of $120,000 annually
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
- Must pass a criminal background check
Performance Responsibilities:
- Provide healthcare support for students in grades K-5, including first aid, care for minor injuries, and medication administration.
- Maintain detailed records for each student’s health, including immunization status, illnesses, and medical conditions.
- Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to ensure that students with medical needs are receiving the necessary support.
- Conduct screenings for vision, hearing, and scoliosis, and refer students to the appropriate professionals as needed.
- Assist with developing and implementing health education programs for students.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student health concerns and follow-up actions.
