Endoscopy Equipment Specialist
Duties:
- Prepare and monitor patients during procedures, recording vital signs and notifying the RN of changes.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning equipment for endoscopy procedures.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting for endoscopy machines and scopes.
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained and supplies are not expired.
- Assist patients with personal care needs and ambulation.
- Perform routine checks on refrigerators, call bells, and isolation rooms.
- Prepare procedural rooms, ensuring equipment functionality and cleanliness.
- Coordinate repairs with manufacturers or engineering departments.
- Maintain detailed logs for equipment processing and inventory activities.
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
Skills Required:
- Recent experience in endoscopy or procedural healthcare.
- Valid ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; additional science courses are advantageous.
Stipend Range: $87,000 - $102,000 annually.
