Endoscopy Room Assistant
Duties:
- Prepare and maintain the endoscopy room, ensuring equipment is functional and supplies are stocked.
- Assist in patient preparation, monitoring vital signs, and performing EKGs.
- Provide support to GI physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments per infection control guidelines.
- Collect and transport specimens and handle associated documentation.
- Act promptly during emergencies, providing necessary items and initiating CPR if required.
- Transport patients and assist with mobility as needed.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of endoscopy room setup and patient care practices.
- BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; NA/PCA certification highly recommended.
Stipend Range: $90,000 - $108,000 annually.
Salary : $90,000 - $108,000
