High-Risk Obstetric Technician

Qualifications :

  • Associate degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of high-risk labor and delivery care.
  • Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or high-risk OB unit preferred.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties :

  • Assists with labor and delivery for high-risk patients.
  • Supports C-sections, emergency deliveries, and maternal-fetal procedures.
  • Prepares and maintains sterile environments for high-risk cases.
  • Monitors and records patient vitals.
  • Provides assistance with neonatal stabilization after delivery.
  • Ensures all surgical tools and emergency supplies are readily available.
