Histology Laboratory Technician
Qualifications:
- NYS License/registration or limited permit as a Histological Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
- At least 2 years of experience in histology or a clinical laboratory setting.
- Ability to distinguish color variations in staining and tissue samples.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Process and prepare tissue samples using advanced staining techniques.
- Perform immunohistochemistry and enzyme histochemistry procedures.
- Handle and process neuropathology and muscle biopsy specimens.
- Maintain detailed records of histological samples and research data.
- Assist with quality control and compliance in the laboratory.
- Ensure laboratory safety and maintain strict patient confidentiality.
Pay: $3,300 - $4,300 per week
