Histology Specialist – Clinical and Research Lab
Qualifications:
- NYS License/registration or limited permit for Histological Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
- At least 2 years of experience in histopathology or a related clinical lab field.
- Strong attention to detail in tissue processing and staining techniques.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Prepare and stain tissue samples for clinical diagnosis and research studies.
- Conduct special stains, immunostaining, and enzyme histochemistry.
- Handle specialized procedures such as eye pathology, nerve biopsies, and renal biopsies.
- Enter patient and specimen data into laboratory computer systems.
- Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and quality control standards.
Pay: $3,500 - $4,500 per week
