Qualifications :

B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD.
NYS licensed; hospital experience preferred.
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties :

Reviews prescriptions and medication orders for accuracy and compliance with policy.

Prepares and dispenses medications, including sterile compounds, for various hospital units.

Provides clinical pharmacy services, including drug monitoring and interaction assessment.

Maintains proper documentation for compliance with legal and institutional policies.

Educates healthcare staff on best practices and medication safety.

Contributes to quality assurance programs within the pharmacy department.
