Job Title: Invasive Cardiology Technician - Cath Lab
Duties:
- Prepare and position patients for invasive cardiac procedures.
- Operate monitoring equipment and alert the team to any changes in hemodynamic status.
- Set up and maintain sterile fields and instrument tables.
- Maintain procedure room stock and participate in inventory control.
- Support the care team with supply retrieval during procedures.
- Troubleshoot and ensure the functionality of equipment such as rotablation systems and IABP pumps.
- Assist with patient transfers to and from procedure tables.
- Follow aseptic techniques during all procedures, ensuring a safe environment.
- Perform other responsibilities as required by the team.
Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in invasive cardiology settings.
- Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and sterile procedures.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
MBBS qualification acceptable as a substitute
