Nurse Practitioner – Hospitalist Medicine
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in hospital medicine.
- NYS licensed/registered NP with a hospitalist or internal medicine specialty preferred.
- CPR and ACLS certification required.
- Experience managing complex medical conditions in inpatient settings preferred.
Duties:
- Manages hospitalized patients under attending physician supervision.
- Conducts comprehensive assessments and daily rounding.
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
- Develops and adjusts treatment plans for chronic and acute conditions.
- Coordinates with specialists and discharge planners for patient transitions.
Pay: Medium weekly pay range: $2,500 - $3,200 per week
