Orthodontic Dental Assistant
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of three years of experience in orthodontic assisting or completion of an accredited program
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, appliances, and sterilization protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy practice
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills
Duties:
- Assist orthodontists with bracket placements, wire changes, and retainer fittings
- Take impressions, scan digital models, and prepare orthodontic appliances
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and care for orthodontic devices
- Maintain and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and treatment progress documentation
Pay: $50/hr to $55/hr
