Job Title: Patient Care Associate (PCA) - Mental Health Intervention
Duties:
- Serve as part of a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient mental health setting.
- Support patient care activities, including hygiene, mobility, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and document patient health data such as vital signs and weight.
- Lead or co-lead therapeutic activities and support discharge planning efforts.
- Respond to patient emergencies, implementing restraint protocols as necessary.
- Uphold infection control and ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Skills Required:
- Experience in behavioral health, nursing, or group counseling.
- Skills in venipuncture, EKGs, and basic clinical procedures.
Education:
- High school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience OR an Associate’s degree in mental health or a related field.
- BLS certification required.
Pay Range:
- Weekly: $1,200 - $1,450
