Perinatal Technician

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience in patient care.

• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques.

• Experience in OB or surgical environments preferred.

• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

• Supports nurses in monitoring and assisting laboring patients.

• Prepares and maintains sterile environments for deliveries.

• Assists in the setup of labor and delivery rooms.

• Monitors and records patient vitals.

• Serves as the scrub technician for OB surgical procedures.

• Provides assistance with patient hygiene and mobility.
