Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant - Patient Care Specialist
Job Summary:
Deliver physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physical therapist. Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor patient progress and contribute to their rehabilitation journey.
Responsibilities:
- Administer therapeutic interventions in accordance with established care plans.
- Provide regular updates to the supervising physical therapist.
- Maintain thorough and timely patient documentation.
- Participate in discharge planning and equipment recommendations.
- Assist in the training and supervision of physical therapy assistant students.
Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in New York State.
- At least 7 years of experience in physical therapy support roles.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
