Trauma Data Entry Specialist

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in trauma registry data entry or a related field.
• Completion of AIS Coding and ATS Trauma Registry courses required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and trauma coding.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

• Enter and validate trauma patient records into the hospital trauma registry.
• Ensure accurate and complete coding of trauma diagnoses and procedures.
• Assist in data abstraction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with trauma data reporting regulations.
• Work closely with the trauma program team to ensure data integrity.
