Duties
- You will be a master analyst and consultant to the PEO-Maritime Undersea APMs, for planning and analyzing the effectiveness of line or operating programs for financial, contractual, programmatic, engineering management of USSOCOM Undersea Programs.
- You will conduct complex studies that identify ways to improve effectiveness of work methods, procedures, manpower allocation, distribution of work assignments, delegations of authority, information and documentation systems, and similar functions.
- You will establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate timely development and approval of products.
- You will plan integrated analytical evaluations of varied control systems and operating programs; select and develop coverage areas, and plan and coordinate team efforts at several sites.
- You will represent the organization, as an engineering and analytical expert, within and outside the Command, and to resolve different and entrenched viewpoints, prepare coordinated reports.
- You will present briefings in support of program actions and to brief senior leadership making recommendations that affect the basic content and character of operations, relationships with other groups, and the overall mission goals.
- You will integrate budgeting and execution constraints with hands-on experience with Defense projects, such as shipbuilding; submarine, submersible or platform design, integration or support; submarine and submersible sustainment.
- You will apply principles, methods, tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing projects and resources, including technical performance.
- You will identify and analyze problems; weigh relevance and accuracy of information; seek/generate and evaluate alternative perspectives/solutions; make timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions.
