Job Summary
Responsible for assisting with Compensation and Wellness program projects and initiatives including but not limited to implementing and updating position descriptions occupational series job code security profile and conducting research regarding industry best practice regarding total compensation and wellness programs and performance management systems and processes.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Performs administrative and research tasks in the capacity of assistant for the following
- Compensation projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Prepares spreadsheets presentations reports etc. as assigned.
- Administration of various total compensation and wellness programs etc.
- Inputting new and modifies existing job descriptions as needed ensuring all required fields in the Job Code Library in HRIS are accurately completed.
- Verifies position descriptions occupational series EEO designation security profiles etc. in accordance with prescribed policies.
- Identifies and documents benchmarks for various job descriptions industry standards relative to HR Compensation metrics statistics etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
The aforementioned does not represent an all-inclusive list the incumbent may be required to assist with within the HQ Human Resources division.
Works under general supervision. Assignments are reviewed while in progress and upon completion. Leadership is provided informally by higher-level HR Specialists Team members. Work is reviewed for accuracy completeness technical adequacy and conformance to specifications and timeliness.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : 1 year progressively responsible clerical or office work of and kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position.
AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : 1 year progressively responsible experience performing clerical or administrative support duties or experience in a related area which demonstrates the ability to perform the work of the position.
OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE : 1 / 2 year academic study above the high school level may be substituted for each 6 months of 1 year of general and 1 year specialized.
