What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR)?
Summary
This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program. The purpose of this position is to provide beverage service in a dining room, bar/lounge facility.

Duties
Sets up bar for operation, including garnishes for mixed drinks. Mixes and serves a limited variety of alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks to order, following a variety of established recipes.
Serves patrons directly, receives payment, operates cash register, makes and returns change to the patron. At close of facility, completes the Daily Activity Report (DAR), verifies amount of money collected and drops the cashier bag into the safe.
Performs basic cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washes bar equipment, glassware, utensils, etc., to maintain a constant and clean working area. Ensures all current sanitation requirements are followed and maintained.
Performs Other Related Duties As Required.
Must meet minimum age requirement.

A qualified candidate possess the following:
Knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures to compute changes and make change quickly and accurately.

Must possess working knowledge and skill to mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from a limited bar.
A Minimum Of Six Months' Experience Is Strongly Preferred.
