School custodian, janitor - START ASAP!
We are seeking a dedicated on call general cleaner (custodian) to join our team in the Fruitport area!
On call openings for school custodian:
- Weekdays, Monday-Friday: a 4-6 hour block of time that starts between 2:30pm and 5pm AND weekend availability (see next bullet)
- Weekends, Saturday and Sunday: This person would set up and tear down for school events, plus work during them. The events can start as early as 8am and some go late into the night.
Pay Rate: $14 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning restrooms
- Removing trash
- Operating a floor scrubber or similar floor cleaning equipment
- As well as other cleaning tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Great attendance!
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Willing to submit fingerprints for working in a school
- 18 years of age or older with valid ID
- Ability to work efficiently while upholding company’s quality standards
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members
