IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems, and follow established accounts payable procedures.
- Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, maintaining accurate records and control reports.
- Manage monthly closing of accounts payable and posting of month-end information, ensuring accuracy of financial statements.
- Respond to accounts payable questions/concerns to meet business needs.
- Review and reconcile supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a relevant field.
- Proficiency in ERP software; NetSuite experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (accrual basis accounting), practices, and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and various departments.
- Good math and communication skills.
