Database Developer / Oracle Developer
Location:- West Palm Beach, Florida
Government Client project which is scheduled to go for very long term. An average term of the duration is 7 years.
Specification of Needed Skill Sets:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with PowerBuilder and Oracle PL/SQL, including expertise in:
- Packages
- Stored Procedures
- Triggers
- Functions
- PFC Libraries
- PowerScript
- Proficiency with Oracle 19c or higher is required.
- Good knowledge of:
- Query optimization
- Performance tuning
- Database security and authentication
- Experience with Oracle-specific tools:
- TOAD
- SQL Plus
- Strong data analysis, data modeling, design, and implementation skills.
- Ability to work on a large complex system, either within a team or individually.
- Strong communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, project management, and an understanding of the customer s changing business requirements.
Preferred but Not Required Experience / Skills / Knowledge:
- Experience working in the Utilities industry, covering areas such as:
- Accounts
- Customers
- Billing
- Payment
- Advanced Metering Infrastructure and Interfaces
- Service Orders
- Design, develop, program, test, and implement PowerBuilder applications software.
- Manage all phases of the SDLC, including:
- Analysis
- Design
- Development
- Testing
- Implementation
- Maintenance
- Strong understanding of .NET development frameworks (Angular and MAUI is a plus).
- Experience with PowerBuilder 12/2017 or higher, PowerDesigner, or similar CASE tools.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
