Coordinating Producer, Production Technology - NBC Sports Bay Area

Role Summary
This position will research and manage the deployment of tech innovations in NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California game broadcasts and support the networks’ production teams in delivering next-level experiences for consumers. The person in this role will use a combination of production, operations and technical expertise to execute projects related to remote access live event productions (RAPs or Cloud-Control models), cloud-based digital media hub, on-screen overlays, augmented reality, player tracking, advanced data integrations and more. They also will ensure technical timelines and financial planning are met, and own the day-to-day operations, training and recruiting for these projects.

Job Duties

• Focus on coordination, implementation and execution of remote productions produced using Remote Access Production Suite (RAPS) model
• Serve as on-site technical manager and production coordinator for RAPS-model productions
• Stay current and look ahead to the development of innovative technology, trends and advanced workflow implementations
• Ability to create roadmaps for continuous improvements and to advocate for enhancing consumer experiences on all platforms
• Establish strong working relationship with outside vendors and rights partners
• Assist corporate leadership to manage projects, build and maintain vendor relationships, and explore, select and integrate innovations, new technologies and workflows to optimize Live Events productions across all NBC RSNs
• Assist Senior Director, Live Events and Special Projects in all Live Events-related matters

Basic Qualifications

• 
  10-years of experience Live Production and experience with a minimum of 3 spent focusing on emerging technologies
  
• College degree or comparable educational training
  
• Possess in-depth experience and knowledge broadcast productions and technical operations
