NBC Universal is looking for a talented individual to become a Production Support Engineer in the Production Engineering group for NBCU Operations and Technology (O&T) based out of the Telemundo Center facility located in Miami FL. O&T supports Enterprise Technology Broadcast and Production systems across NBCU globally.
The Production Engineer is responsible for providing bestinclass live television production support for NBCU supporting live and scripted / unscripted productions. This position will also support the projects team where and as required to implement changes enhancements and system upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and support maintenance of a broadcast production environment consisting of multiple studios and production control rooms.
- Resolve support requests monitor ticketing systems for new issues and assigned tasks and perform preventative maintenance as assigned.
- Collaborate with other members of the engineering and technical teams in executing projects including working with internal stakeholders to create and update configuration documentation technical SOPs training materials etc.
- Support virtualization and cloud initiatives continuing deployment of virtual production systems both onpremise and in the cloud.
- Maintain production systems by measuring and monitoring availability system health.
