What are the responsibilities and job description for the Universal Destinations Experiences Summer 2025 Internship - Business Analytics Industrial Engineering Food Beverage position at NBCUniversal?
Food and Beverage Analytics and Process Improvements time studying data collections data analysis; performed in theme park and City Walk food venues. Deliverables will include developing labor standards providing throughput and capacity calculations identifying bottlenecks and providing recommendations for improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist the Business Analytics and Industrial Engineering Department in accomplishing tasks
- Tasks include time studies data collection data analysis metric development and execution and small projects pertaining to increasing efficiency reducing costs impacting sales and improving throughput
- Collect and compile observational datatime and motion studies
- This data can be used to make business decisions around (but not limited to) ride capacity and utilization Food and Merchandise sales labor utilization and standards
- Experience with data analysis and statistical analysis
- Experience working in in Microsoft Excel
- Perform various traditional Industrial Engineering tasks as required
- Ability to prioritize effectively and problem solve to ensure all tasks are completed in an effective and timely manner
- Excellent interpersonal presentation and facilitation skills
- Energetic strong communicator highly motivated
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established USH policy procedures training and team member involvement activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
Pay Range : $18$25 / hour
Please note this is a hybrid internship.
Qualifications :
In pursuit of Bachelors degree from a four year college or university in an accredited Industrial Engineering program
