We are currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Office Assistant to join our team - someone who is flexible and can combine accounting responsibilities with customer service support. The primary duties include managing financial records, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping systems. Additionally, this role involves answering phones and assisting customers as part of the customer service team for the next 4-5 months. Primary Job Function: Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting. This position will also be responsible for maintaining efficient internal controls and adherence to accounting policies and other company policies and procedures. Responsible for reconciliations, all A/P and A/R functions, and payroll. This role requires wearing multiple hats and will include several office administration duties like answering phones, communicating to the customers, and assisting with the service call bookings.
Work Hours: 40 hours per week, 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday
Pay Range: $18 - $25 per hour depending on experience

Required Qualifications:
- HS diploma or its equivalent
- 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Expert QuickBooks skills
- Service Titan experience is preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer skills (proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience working with AP/AR, payroll, and basic business bookkeeping requirements
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented ability to multi-task
- Well-organized and ability to work independently
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or construction trade is a plus
Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug screening upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
