Engineering Technician - Entry Level!

• Drive and place survey stakes and run testing on materials n accordance with policy and procedures.
• Inspect roadway projects.
• Provide accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
• Perform basic math calculations.

• Experience planning, developing, scheduling, tracking, and completing projects independently or with limited supervision.
• Computer experience, including Microsoft Office and drafting software.
• Knowledge of standards and specifications.
• Plan reading experience.
• Customer service experience solving problems involving explaining complicated engineering concepts to customer groups.
• Experience maintaining standard daily records and reports.
• Strength to perform heavy lifting.
• Ability to safely drive a pickup truck.
• Fortitude to work outside in all kinds of weather, snow, ice, in high traffic volumes, and during/after disasters that may require you to work overtime.
• Agility to work on all terrain.
• Maturity to exercise limited decision making and judgment.
• Safety toe shoes.

• Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, or a related curriculum; or
• An equivalent combination of training and experience.
