Engineering Technician - Entry Level!

• Perform technical work supporting technicians and engineers in construction inspection, surveying, materials sampling, testing, erosion control, and construction traffic control
• Perform standardized and non-standardized tests and assignments compiling, analyzing, computing, editing, and processing field data.
• Apply your decision making skills and use good engineering judgment.
• Perform a full range of calculations and computations, and be proficient at recordkeeping.
• Work inside and outside in all kinds of environmental conditions.

• Experience working in a team environment to complete assignments.

• Knowledge and skill in the use of computer equipment, iPad and software.

• Experience in customer service and interacting with the general public.

• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle.
• Safety toe shoes.

•  Knowledge and understanding of the general concepts, practices, and theories used in construction, construction inspection, or construction surveying.
• Experience planning, developing, scheduling, tracking and completing projects independently or with limited supervision.
• Experience maintaining neat, legible, and accurate records and reports, including computer/iPad data entry.

• Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, or a related curriculum; or
• An equivalent combination of training and experience.
