Responsibilities
- Provide on-the-job training and support to individuals at the Orange Dog Cafe in Atascadero, ensuring successful job placement and performance.
- Act as the primary liaison with employers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction with service quality.
- Complete and submit all required documentation, including transportation paperwork, attendance records, and incident reports, by set deadlines.
- Offer continuous instruction tailored to vocational growth and training objectives, aligned with individual abilities and development.
- Promote client advocacy skills and advocate on behalf of individuals served.
- Conduct weekly inventory checks and prepare detailed shopping lists for necessary purchases.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Health Standards and Regulations for safe food handling and storage.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the organization's mission.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid California Driver's License for at least 2 years with no major infractions in the last 4 years.
- Basic computer and technology skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Flexibility in work schedule to meet company needs.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to serve as a role model for adults with disabilities.
- Successful completion of a LiveScan background check.
Compensation
$19.50-$21.50 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits and perks. Monday- Friday 12 to 6 PM.
