This role involves executing a contract with Cal Trans to provide supported employment and job training to individuals in our programs. Responsibilities
- Provide training and support to individuals participating in the Supported Employment Program.
- Ensure the long-term success and enhance the work training experience of the individuals served.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a cohesive and supportive work environment.
- Represent NCI Affiliates in interactions with employers and community partners.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with developmentally disabled adults is preferred.
- Janitorial experience is preferred.
- Must have a personal vehicle and maintain a current California driver’s license.
- Provide ongoing proof of current state-required auto insurance.
- Basic computer and technology skills are required.
- A high school education or equivalent is required.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills are necessary.
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to make sound decisions are essential.
